Kaprun railway station is about 3 km from Hotel Klawunn. The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway connects Kaprun station with Zell am See station.

During the holiday season, there is even a direct ICE connection from Hamburg at weekends (Saturdays).

Either take the A8 and A10 motorways to Salzburg/Bischofshofen or take the A8 to the Siegsdorf exit and drive towards Lofer. Via Lofer and Saalfelden you will reach Zell am See. From there continue in the direction of Mittersill and after about 4 kilometres take the exit towards Kaprun at the roundabout. Turn left towards Fürth and then turn right twice.

Follow the A1 motorway to Salzburg and change to the A10 towards Villach. Leave the A10 motorway at Bischofshofen and continue on the B311 towards Zell am See. In Zell am See turn off in the direction of Mittersill. After about 4 kilometres, take the second exit at the roundabout. Then turn right onto Matzenstraße and left onto Führt. Turn right twice to reach our Hotel Klawunn.

Drive over the Pass Thurn, the Gerlos Pass or the Felbertauern to Mittersill and then continue in the direction of Zell am See. After Piesendorf/Fürth, take the exit at the roundabout in the direction of Kaprun to get onto Matzenstraße. Turn left towards Fürth and then turn right twice.

Follow the A10 motorway in the direction of Villach and take the Bischofshofen exit in the direction of Zell am See. In Zell am See turn off in the direction of Mittersill. After about 4 kilometres, take the exit towards Kaprun at the roundabout. Then turn right onto Matzenstraße and left onto Führt. Turn right twice to reach our Hotel Klawunn.
